I supported Webba on the design and development of C’est la Vie’s festival website, with a focus on an event programme the organisers could update and reuse each year.

## Context and brief

C’est la Vie is a free street theatre festival in Emmen, the Netherlands, combining performances, live music, and markets. Its website needed to promote the event and help visitors find practical information, including while they were attending.

The organisers also needed a publishing structure that could accommodate a changing programme without requiring a fresh layout for each edition.

## My contribution

Webba brought me into the team to assist with UX/UI and technical development. My main contribution was the programme section, supported by work translating the design into flexible desktop and mobile layouts.

I used native WordPress functionality and structured fields so editors could add performances, assign times, and have entries appear in schedule order. The approach kept routine programme updates within the content-management workflow.

## What was delivered

The website combined the event programme with news and announcements. Its responsive layouts supported visitors looking for information on their phones, while the backend gave the organisers a repeatable way to prepare future editions.

The delivered programme structure could be updated with new acts and times without rebuilding the page. That made ongoing editing a core part of the solution, alongside the visual refresh developed with Webba.
