I redesigned and led the development of Vinalia’s website, creating a responsive presentation of the Mauritian wine and spirits distributor’s products and services.

## Context and brief

Vinalia needed a website that reflected its brand without making the experience complicated. The project came through HeadQu4rters, which supplied the sitemap and content. An earlier layout had not fully met the client’s expectations, so the design needed a fresh approach before development could progress.

The priority was to make the offering easy to understand through clear navigation, readable content, and carefully handled imagery.

## My contribution

I created new mockups in Figma, revisiting the visual hierarchy, spacing, and flow across screen sizes. Once the direction was approved, I led the WordPress build with development support from Kevin.

The supplied content and sitemap gave us a defined foundation. My work focused on turning that material into a coherent experience, with attention to typography, responsive layouts, image optimisation, and caching.

## What was delivered

The website brought Vinalia’s wines, services, and brand information together in a consistent presentation. The interface used restrained animation and straightforward navigation so the content remained the focus.

The result was a website designed around clear product discovery and manageable content, rather than unnecessary features. Performance considerations were part of the build, alongside the visual decisions that shaped the final experience.
