I led development of A.B.E. Mauritius’ product website, connecting a structured construction-materials catalogue with technical downloads and application guidance.
Context and brief
A.B.E. Mauritius needed a website that helped construction professionals find products and the documents needed to assess them. The brief called for clear categorisation, accessible technical information, and a stronger local presentation of the brand.
The project came through HeadQu4rters and was delivered through Fourlines Design Studio. Xavier created the initial design, while I led development and contributed to the UX structure.
My contribution
I built the product catalogue using structured content fields, filtering, and reusable layouts. Products could be organised by category and application, with specifications and related information presented consistently.
A central part of the work was the download system. Documents could be uploaded once and linked to the relevant product, then displayed both on that product’s page and in the central download area. This reduced the need to manage separate copies in different sections.
What was delivered
The website also included an interactive house illustration with clickable points linking building areas to relevant products and documentation. It provided a second route into the catalogue, based on the visitor’s practical application rather than a product name.
The delivered platform connected product discovery, technical reference material, and content management. It gave visitors several ways to locate a solution while keeping the underlying product and document records organised for the client’s team.
