A website that had grown by addition, rebuilt around one decision
A historical case study of my version-three website planning: connecting capabilities, service choices, and a considered route to enquiry.
Web design and development in Mauritius, built to last
Available for new projects
I am Fernando Kylas, an independent web designer and developer. I design, build and look after fast, clear websites for businesses in Mauritius and across Europe, and I help them get found in search and in AI answers.
About
One person, from the first call to the last fix
I have worked professionally with websites since 2008, when I joined an agency as a web designer. Since then I have designed, built and rescued sites for businesses, NGOs and organisations across different sectors.
I was born and raised in Greece and built my professional life in Mauritius. I work directly with clients in Mauritius and internationally, and I regularly spend time in the Netherlands, Belgium, Germany, France and the UK.

How I work
Four steps, in the same order every time
Most projects follow the same path. Smaller jobs move through it in days, larger ones in weeks, but nothing gets built before we agree what it is for.
- 01
Audit
I look at what you have today: the site, the content, the data and how people use it. Then I tell you plainly what is working and what is not.
- 02
Decide
We agree the goals, the scope and the structure, in writing, before any design or build work starts.
- 03
Build
I design and build in short rounds, with a private preview link at every step, so there are no surprises at launch.
- 04
Sustain
After launch I look after the site, measure what changes and keep improving it, or hand it over cleanly to your team.
